The U10 Boys Pink team also performed admirably, finishing as runners-up after a series of closely contested games. Both the U10 and U12 Boys Blue teams should be commended for their positive attitude, teamwork and sportsmanship. They played with real spirit, supported one another and contributed greatly to the positive atmosphere of the event.

Across all age groups, our students displayed exemplary behaviour, respect for opponents and a genuine love for the game. The Power of Stories

This week, students celebrated Elmer Day by reading Elmer by David McKee. Through this engaging literacy experience, pupils explored important values such as kindness, friendship and embracing differences. The activity shows how stories can be powerful tools for building empathy and encouraging children to be proud of who they are.  Even in Year 6, the simple yet profound message of a picture book like Elmer sparked thoughtful discussions and reminded pupils that these values remain relevant at every age.

    Foundation Stage News

    Foundation Stage 1 Performance

Many of you will know that the highlight of the FS1 calendar is the annual production. The children have now auditioned, the roles have been cast, and rehearsals have begun. So far, all is going very well, the children are clearly enjoying participating and are looking forward to presenting their talents to their friends and families.

    Foundation Stage 2 Graduation Ceremony

This year, there is a common theme between the FS1 Production and the FS2 Graduation - Disco. Both events will involve audience participation, and the parents are invited to join in the fun, soak up the atmosphere and wear their favourite disco garments.

What Foundation Stage 2 Learnt this Week

This week, the children have continued to enjoy role-play in our classroom airport. Bringing in their own suitcases to share with friends was very popular and led to some great writing opportunities, especially list-making and labelling.

We were also pleased to welcome a flight attendant to our class. The children listened carefully as she explained her role and how she helps to keep passengers safe and comfortable during a flight. They had some thoughtful questions and really enjoyed learning more about what happens on board an aeroplane.
