There were several solos including piano, guitar and recorder during the concert, which revealed the musical talent of our young performers. The children performed superbly and were a credit to the School. All photos of the Year 3 concerts can be seen here.

Foundation Stage One
This week, FS1 embarked on a culinary journey around the world, as part of our current topic. The children actively learned about food from different countries and enjoyed making pizza, noodles and eating croissants. The children thoroughly enjoyed trying different foods and they even learnt how to say hello in different languages.
Foundation Stage Two
During Music class, pupils showcased their understanding of musical elements such as pitch, duration, tempo and dynamics. They also received an introduction to performance expectations and stage etiquette. The children engaged in singing with accompanying actions, demonstrating their responsiveness to music, and also played percussion instruments. In one particular song, they used wooden blocks to mimic the sound of “popcorn popping out of the pan”. The event culminated in a lively Latin dance where parents joined their children, learning a rhythmic pattern that persisted throughout the song.
See photos of all of today's music showcases here.
