BISC Champions
The week began with much to celebrate. We all watched with pride as our Under 11 boys' basketball and girls' football teams beat some tough opponents to win the BSME fixtures hosted at BISC.
Year 11 students continued to impress with their positive and focused approaches to their mock examinations. They all deserve a well earned rest this weekend.
Year 13 are also beginning to receive impressive university offers and had much to be proud of in their celebration assembly.
Looking forward to next week’s achievements; we have a busy week of key and prestigious trips going ahead. Our Under 15 team for BSME Games departed in the early hours of this morning; we wish them the very best of luck in the games. Our MUN delegates will also join the most important global MUN conference at the Hague next week. Our delegates have secured the key leadership positions at this conference and will, I am sure, enjoy and benefit from this incredible experience.

Library News
It has been a busy week in the Library, as the latest Year 9 reading target having been Wednesday 17th January. Well done to everyone who achieved their reading goal this time around!
Readers of the Week:
Malak in Year 7 is a prolific reader. She has strong opinions about what she wants to read, and reads a lot of it. Malak is also helpful with recommending books to other students. She achieved her second reading target several months ahead of schedule. Well done, Malak!
AbdelAziz in Year 9 has started this term with an excellent attitude to learning. He created his own schedule for meeting this week's target, which he followed and completed ahead of time. AbdelAziz has read a range of books and spends lots of his free time developing his skills and good reading habits.
Year 8 Arabic
Some students read a story entitled The Dove and the Ant in their Arabic lesson this week. The objective is to increase reading skills, whilst teaching students cooperation and a love of helping others. Photos
